Overview

This module will enable you to critically evaluate your service provision in response to changing demographics, and the integration of services. The primary focus will be the exploration of work-based delivery to enable you to respond appropriately to advances in knowledge and technology, as well as economic, legislative, regulatory and professional requirements.

  1. Critically evaluate the need to demonstrate motivation and commitment to leading service innovation to enhance care delivery.
  2. Engage in a comprehensive enquiry in relation to the process of leading service innovation and delivery with a desire to achieve high quality service provision
  3. Critically examine the current health and care trends and explore effective ways to provide services in the future
  4. Reflect on and critically evaluate self in the context of improving health and care service delivery.

Those individuals with an interest in service innovation and leading and managing change may be interested in undertaking this module as a standalone module. This module is mandatory for the MA/PgD/PgC Professional Practice: Integrated Care and Advanced Radiography Practice

The format of this work-based learning module will enable you to deliver an innovative project of specific relevance to their current professional role. It is expected that the focus for work-based learning activity will be to reflect on, enhance and develop practice with current health and social care arena. The integration agenda spans all delivery of services and the focus of this will be highlighted throughout this module.
