This program aims to develop advanced knowledge of all aspects of digital marketing whilst enhancing your critical thinking and problem-solving skills in digital marketing contexts. You’ll cultivate practical skills in data analytics, social media management and content creation, as well as learn ethical and sustainable marketing practices. By blending theoretical foundations with hands-on experience, the course aims to prepare you for digital marketing leadership roles in various industries.

The digital marketing industry in the UK has seen significant growth, and the continued rise in digital ad spend to over £15.7 billion (IAB UK, 2022) in 2022 showcases the importance of digital marketing in the UK economy. Additionally, 73% of UK businesses consider data-driven marketing to be crucial to their success and a recent LinkedIn study (LinkedIn, 2023) identified that digital marketing is one of the top 10 most indemand skills in the UK. A survey by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) also found that 70% of UK marketing leaders reported a shortage of digital marketing skills within their teams. This program aims to bridge that gap by providing students with the necessary practical skills and advanced knowledge to excel in the digital marketing landscape.

Our program will be accredited by Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). This internationally recognised and respected accreditation gives students a competitive advantage and offers additional resources and CPD for students learning.  This course utilises authentic assessments, so you will be assessed through presentations, pitches and reports rather than traditional essays and exams. This means you will have the opportunity to build on important work-based skills whilst working on your assignments. Additionally, we offer each student on the course a spot on the Footprint Digital Academy towards the end of your study. This coveted academy spot gives you the opportunity to put your knowledge into action with real clients and build on your digital marketing knowledge through the use of GA4, paid advertising and data analysis. Giving you client-facing experience, a project on your CV and valuable practical skills.
