You will learn:
- How to carry out head to toe assessment on patients
- Physical assessment in relation to identifying patient's health problems
- Investigative procedures for reviewing patient's health status
- Identifying patient at risk for deterioration
On successful completion of this module, you should be able to:
- Use patients' history for making appropriate decisions in relation to patient's health status
- Conduct physical examination to accurately identify patient's health problems
- Use appropriate investigative procedures and interpret findings in relation to patient's health status
- Successful completion of degree level modules can enable progression to master's degree studies in a range of Health Care related courses
- You should possess the qualities and knowledge to work in a clinical environment using the acquired health assessment skills
