Sean Mulcahy

Sean is a photographic industry professional based in London. He has worked in various photographic labs since 1986, and as a freelance photographer, mostly in the music and aviation sectors. His career has spanned the transition from analogue to digital eras of photography, providing him with a broad insight across the industry. He is currently the Large Format Print Manager at Metro Imaging Ltd and the series photographer for the CALM All Porsche Trophy around the UK.

Sean lectures one day a week in Professional Practice at University of Suffolk, and is an Associate Lecturer in Fashion Photography at the London Metropolitan University. He continues to work on freelance projects as well as one-to-one teaching, providing industry advice and mentoring.

Sean’s interests are varied but include astronomy, geology, physics, science, history, languages, industrial & social history, endurance & sports car racing.
