Professor Dave Muller was previously Principal of Suffolk New College and led the demerger of Suffolk College to create University Campus Suffolk, now the University of Suffolk, and a new College of Further Education.
He is visiting Professor of Rehabilitation Psychology at the University of Suffolk where he mentors and supports staff carrying out research. This links strongly to his International role as Editor in Chief of ‘Disability and Rehabilitation’ which is a leading inter-disciplinary rehabilitation Journal in the field.
During the last few years he has collaborated Internationally in editing a number of texts primarily for the publisher CRC but also for Cambridge University Press and Springer. He has used this as an opportunity to facilitate a number of publications from colleagues at the University.
He remains heavily involved with local businesses having previously been the Founding Chair of the Greater Ipswich Chamber of Commerce. He is now a Director of Locus Management Solutions and involved with Ipswich Central the Business Improvement District for the Town.
However his main role as Director is chairing All About Ipswich which is the Management Destination Organisation for wider Ipswich. Through this role a new project is under way focused on attracting tourists and business visitors to an area designated as Explore Suffolk.
With his wife Pam, he is a Director of DJM Academic Ltd which offers professional advice on academic publishing but also delivers a wide range of fashion events and personal style for which Pam takes the lead.
