Martin Sinclair (IHWB)

Mr Martin Sinclair is a Consultant Upper GI Surgeon at East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust (Ipswich Site), UK appointed in 2002.  He is the Surgical Coordinator at the National Confidential Enquiry into Patient Outcome and Death (NCEPOD) since 2013 where he has developed and written a number of national reports.  He is Visiting Professor of Intestinal Disease at the University of Suffolk.

Martin originally studied Medicine at The University of Glasgow where he graduated in 1991 before working in the West of Scotland for a number of years before joining the Oxford and Cambridge Surgical Rotation in 1997.

He has also spent 18 months on sabbatical in Abu Dhabi where he was Chief of Surgery at Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital.
