Jonni Burton

Jonni provides dedicated compliance support for apprenticeship funded programmes as part of the Apprenticeship Hub and will be developing internal audit practices to embed quality at the core of the delivery for Work Based Learning provision.

Jonni relocated from London in 2015, joining Suffolk New College as an Assessor and IQA in Business Administration, Customer Service and Retail before taking on an Apprenticeships Coordinator role. He has built positive working relationships with prestigious employers including the NHS, IBC, Goldman Sachs, Taylor Wimpey, Suffolk Highways and more.

Before moving to Suffolk, Jonni’s extensive experience in further education includes helping manage the delivery of government initiatives such as Apprenticeships, Train to Gain, E2E and other projects in partnership with JobCentre Plus.

Jonni is pleased to have joined the University of Suffolk and looks forward to helping grow the Apprenticeship provision within Higher Education.
