ITFC Tickets Competition - T&Cs

In partnership with the fantastic Ipswich Town FC, we are giving away TWO free tickets to Ipswich Town v Nottingham Forest on Saturday 15 March. The winner of the competition will be required to correctly guess the time of the first goalscorer in the Crystal Palace v Ipswich Town match on Saturday 8 March.

  1. Entries need to meet the conditions as per the relevant post on the University’s Instagram account (@uniofsuffolk).
  2. All entries submitted after 3pm on Saturday 8 March will not count.
  3. If the correct time of the first goal is not correctly guessed, the closest guess will be the winner and correct goalscorer used in tiebreaker.
  4. Own goals do not count as a first goal.
  5. If there is no goalscorer, a random winner will be drawn.
  6. The Promoter is the University of Suffolk, Waterfront Building, 19 Neptune Quay, Ipswich, IP4 1QJ.
  7. The rules of the competition may be altered before the beginning of each Open Day.
  8. The prize is two ITFC tickets to the game specified in advance, at the home ground, Portman Road, Ipswich.
  9. The tickets must be used by the competition winner and guest and cannot be resold or passed onto another person.
  10. Winners will be emailed to confirm their prize. A member of staff (The Host) from the University will meet the winners at the gate with the tickets. Tickets will not be posted in advance.
  11. Winners have 48 hours to respond before the prize is awarded to another entrant.
  12. The University of Suffolk may use photography/video of the competition winners for promotion and advertising purposes during the match, of the winner/s.
  13. Multiple entries per person will not count.
  14. Any abusive, offensive or inappropriate behaviour during the competition, or as part of the event will not be counted and you may be asked to leave the Open Day.
  15. Winners will be sat with ‘home fans’ and must not wear away team colours or show support for the away team; they must display appropriate behaviour during the event match. Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour will result in all winners being asked to leave the match, by the Host.
  16. On match day, competition winners must arrive at the agreed meeting place by a confirmed time, or they will automatically forfeit the tickets. (Time will be dependent on kick-off time and will be confirmed at time of competition win notification.)
  17. Tickets must be returned to the host after entry to the stadium
