Proving your identity
You must be aged 17 or over, have been a resident in the UK for at least three years and be studying for a full-time course that lasts for a minimum of two years, or be on a one year access course leading onto a full-time degree.
To apply for a ‘Classic account’ you must: aged 18 or older someone who lives in the UK. Have the right to stay in the UK for at least 12 months
If you are not an existing Lloyds customer you will need to provide proof of identity.

Be at least 18 and be in full-time higher education, or a higher apprentice (level 4+)

Must be on a full-time course with at least 2 years as undergraduate or post-graduate, including mature and existing students
You must have proof of your confirmed place, like a UCAS AS12 letters or a headed confirmation letter from your college or university which states your start and end date.
If you only have a conditional offer, wait until your place has been confirmed (after your exam results) to apply.
Approval is based on a credit check, an assessment of your personal circumstances and is subject to status.
