Innovation Labs — Facilities

The Innovation Labs at University of Suffolk (ILABS) is open Monday to Friday 7.00am to 10.00pm and Saturday 10.00am to 4.00pm. You can book your desk space online either as hot desk or permanent desk options.

ILABS is located on the University of Suffolk campus on the ground floor of The Atrium a £5.5m refurbishment, which opened in September 2016. The Atrium has benefited from a complete refurbishment of the current facilities resulting in the provision of modern, accessible facilities.

Members will be able to work with Innovation Labs Growth Support Advisors as well as University of Suffolk Business Development Managers who can connect you with relevant academic experts to support your projects. 

The ILABS also offers a suite of modern serviced meeting rooms accommodating up to 60 delegates. Rooms include a seminar room, 3D Productivity suite, boardroom, meeting room and an innovatively designed workshop space.

The rooms are free to book for members or can be hired separately. Please contact us by email on ilabs@uos.ac.uk if you have any questions or would like to book a tour.

Newly furnished meeting rooms (seats 8-10), conference and training facilities are available for booking by business and network members who may require a physical space to meet clients, businesses or other individuals. The facilities include:

Location

ILABS is centrally located near the spectacular Waterfront in Ipswich, Suffolk and close to the town centre and railway station. A thriving economic centre, Ipswich is also home to Adastral Park and BT’s Global R&D HQ alongside 70 other ICT focused companies. It boasts excellent transport links with London (70 mins) and international destinations through its proximity to Stansted Airport.
