Right to Study Checks

Right to Study

Everyone who requires immigration permission to be in the UK will be required to undertake a Right to Study (RTS) check.

You are required to demonstrate you have sufficient RTS before you commence your studies at the University. Students who fail to provide the relevant right to study documentation when requested by the university will be withdrawn.

Due to UKVI Compliance requirements, the documentation you will be asked to provide will be different depending the immigration permission you hold.

The University will keep a copy of your Right to Study documentation on file.

If you have any questions regarding your Right to Study check, please email us at rts@uos.ac.uk
