Shared Houses
There are a number of shared student houses within the accreditation scheme. They can be found in various locations but all within walking distance of the Ipswich campus.
Most were previously family homes that have been converted to student houses; each house contains a shared bathroom, kitchen and social area, and typically have 4–5 bedrooms per house. Each property is managed by the owner or a managing agent on their behalf.
These properties are available to students in any year of study (unless otherwise stated) but may be of particular interest to:

Oxford Road
Oxford Road features 4 bedrooms, a large kitchen/breakfast room, sitting/dining room, shower and bathroom with separate toilet, and rear garden.
It is situated in a residential area and is a 5-minute walk to the Ipswich campus. There are local shops and amenities, and the town centre is a 15-minute walk away. This property is managed by Student First.

Each bedroom is furnished with a bed, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers, wardrobe, study desk and chair, and curtains or window blind. The property has a shared bathroom and toilet, kitchen/breakfast room and sitting/dining room. There is a garden to the rear of the property.

Rooms are priced at £105–£120 per week for the 2023–2024 academic year. There is a deposit of £250.
The tenancy length is 48 weeks.

It is likely you will need to pay the deposit and advanced rent before the first instalment of student finance is due to you. We strongly recommend that students plan for this and save for their deposit/advanced rent over the months leading up to the start of the tenancy agreement.

This property is not suitable for families with children. Pets are not permitted in the accommodation. Smoking is not permitted inside the accommodation. Parking is not available at this property.
