Schools and Colleges Upcoming Events

Here at the University of Suffolk, we pride ourselves on giving opportunities to Year 12/Level 3 students, to explore different careers available to them, through the range of courses we have here.

Our taster days are designed to support this journey. Students attending a taster day, will get to experience at least one academic session, speak to our lecturers and current students for their view of the University, as well as exploring our brilliant campus.

We have three large scale events that we run throughout the year. If you’d like to be added to the waiting list to be notified once booking opens, please email us.

This event is aimed at students identified as having a physical disability or specific learning difficulty who would benefit from a university experience. Over two days, students work with the University of Suffolk staff and Student Ambassadors and will participate in academic sessions, team building and social activities. It is a great way for students to find out about university life and hear about the opportunities and support that Higher Education can offer. For more information and to register your interest please email the Access and Participation team.

We understand that Higher Education seems a long way off, but the decision children make at school may affect their choices at 16 and 18 years old. This is a free event and a fantastic opportunity to learn more about university and meet with current University of Suffolk students. During the event, families will take part in a fun programme of activities and learn more about Student Finance and the benefits of Higher Education. For more information and to register your interest please email the Access and Participation team.

Bring students along to our Waterfront Campus for a chance to meet various universities and employers face-to0face from across the UK. There will be a range of talks on offer throughout the day including the UCAS application process and Student Finance. Book your place via UCAS for a two-hour time slot.

More details to follow. If you are interested in bringing students along to see out final year arts exhibition, please email us
