The University of Suffolk has been nominated in the Whatuni Student Choice Awards

The University of Suffolk has been nominated in three categories in this year’s Whatuni Student Choice Awards.

The awards (WUSCAs) are the largest student-led alternative to traditional university rankings, where results are driven by unbiased student reviews.

This year, the University of Suffolk is nominated for career prospects, Postgraduate provision and a submission-based award for its cost-of-living help and advice for staff and students.

Cost of living support has included free student breakfasts and free parking for staff and students.

Professor Helen Langton, Vice-Chancellor at the University of Suffolk said: “I am absolutely delighted that we are finalists in three categories this year.

“Thanks to our students who voted for us and to our staff for making this happen.

“I am very proud of these achievements.”

The nomination news came as the University held its Graduate Jobs Marketplace and Work Experience Marketplace events at its Ipswich campus.

Winners will be announced on April 26.
