Dr. Rasem Qudaih is a Lecturer in Digital Business. He holds a PhD in Business and Management, an MBA from the University of East Anglia (UEA), and a BBA. Additionally, he has earned a Level 7 Diploma in Professional Business Consulting from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and is a Chartered Manager (CMgr). He also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PgCAP).
Dr Qudaih has over 15 years of practical experience managing SMEs in Sweden and the Middle East, where he managed multiple businesses in the hospitality and service sectors. His extensive business management experience brings real-world insights into his teaching. He has lived and worked in several countries across the Middle East, Scandinavia, and the UK, gaining valuable international expertise.
During his time at UEA, Dr. Qudaih contributed to the Innovation, Technology, and Operations Management (ITOM) group at Norwich Business School. He was involved in delivering modules such as Digital Business and Principles of Project Management and supervised several Business Analytics MSc students during their dissertations. He also served as an MBA Mentor, helping students apply their business experience to the MBA program.
In addition to that, he was involved in consultancy projects, helping businesses develop marketing strategies and prepare for growth by leveraging digital tools.
Dr. Qudaih's research interests are centred on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, and the Metaverse. He is particularly interested in how these technologies can drive innovation and create new opportunities across industries. Dr. Qudaih is currently accepting PhD students who share his passion in these areas, including Data-Driven Decision Making (DDDM) and Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM).
