David Wilson Nunn is Visiting Senior Fellow in Graphic Design and Creative Director for BBC Studios, a post he has held since January 2012. He is accountable for the generation and application of all commercial creative assets, and their use across product development, applicable to BBC Studios Consumer Products & Licensing commercial brands, ranging from titles such as Doctor Who, Top Gear, Hey Duggee and global pre-school phenomenon, Bluey.
Prior to joining BBC Studios, David spent 3 years at Chorion as Head of Creative and Product Development, working with animation teams, developing creative tools and managing an international product development team on brands from the Roger Hargreaves, Enid Blyton and Agatha Christie estates.
David’s first foray into the world of character licensing was when he spent 5 years working at Universal Studios where he developed licensed product and art directing style guides for titles such as Chicken Run, Jurassic Park, Fast & The Furious, and Peter Jackson’s King Kong.
