Steve (known to most as Kip - its a long story!) has extensive experience in commissioning and contract management within social work and social care and partnership working e.g. dementia pathway, Autism Strategy, Assistive Technology (working with European partners, BT and Health), Social Prescribing, working with the third sector, health, Further and Higher Education etc. I have also worked as a project manager within predominantly local government across many different areas ranging from archives, Independent Living, Psychological access to therapy, School buildings, Learning Disability etc.
He continues to an active campaigner promoting the added value that disAbled people can bring to the work place and all aspects of life.
I possess experience and knowledge in the development of Assistive Technology and developing positive partnerships across very diverse environments and skillsets. I have a multitude of experience working with disadvantaged people and those whom society as a whole has little expectation of. I have extensive experience of IT, particularly Reporting, SharePoint, Teams etc.
I have worked closely with the Department of Health (upstreamed dementia pathway), Department for Education (community based practice),
I have worked on 2-Seas Collaboration projects including Assistive Technology and Dementia.
