Chris is a qualified social worker and Senior Strategic Manager who works in London. He is responsible and oversees how; Social Care, Health, Police, Education and Voluntary organisations work together and with the local community, to safeguard both Adolescents and Adults who are at risk of sexual or criminal exploitation and subject to serious violence within the borough. Much of his role is centred around how we can work together to prevent incidents of exploitation and serious violence from ever occurring. Sadly when an incident of exploitation or serious violence does occur it is his responsibility to ensure that professionals and services are effective in responding to trauma, safeguarding and that suspected people of concern are identified and disrupted.   

 Chris's career spans over 20 years as a qualified social worker, having worked in a range of settings but primarily front-line children and family safeguarding, and has developed specialisms in: Contextual safeguarding, strategic management and planning, partnership working, systemic family therapy, motivational interviewing and AMIBIT.

Chris holds a (Hons) degree in Strategic Management and Leadership, Diploma in Social Work, and qualifications in project management (PRINCE2), Systemic Family Therapy through the Institute of Family Therapy.
