Michael has a background Therapeutic Radiography having graduated from Sheffield Hallam in 2014 with a BSc in Radiotherapy and Oncology. Following this he worked at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for just under 10 years where he became a Lead Radiographer in his time there.
After a fulfilling near decade in the NHS he became a lecturer on the BSc Radiotherapy and Oncology at the University and now teaches the next generation of Radiographers lending his clinical experience to the course. Michael continues to work bank shifts at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital to maintain clinical competence and stay up to date with advances in the field.
Michael has a postgraduate in academic practice, this having provided a theoretical and practical grounding in teaching, facilitating learning and supporting students in higher education.
Michael regularly engages in numerous outreach events across East Anglia. Developing partnerships with local schools, colleges and education institutions to further facilitate and improve links between the University of Suffolk and education providers while promoting Radiography as a whole.
