Allan initially trained in Sports Therapy, then biomechanics and personal training before bringing everything together as a chartered Physiotherapist. He has been in clinical practice in both MSK and Respiratory since graduating. Allan worked in football and cricket while studying before beginning his career in the NHS. Initially, he worked in Manchester before moving back to where he grew up, Norfolk. His background is suggestive of MSK, however, he specialised a little more in the respiratory side of physiotherapy, taking a special interest in acute, intensive care and cardiology.

  • Currently lectures on the Physiotherapy Pathway, mainly in the respiratory area but may cross cover in other specialities
  • Guest lecturer for University of East Anglia in the BSc Physiotherapy Programme
  • Manual handling and basic life support trainer for Norfolk and Norwich Hospital

I have memberships with:

  • HCPC and CSP as regulating bodies.
  • BACPR - British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention & Rehabilitation
  • ACPRC - Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Respiratory Care
