Laurie Chaplin

Laurie joined the University of Suffolk in September 2023, as Resourcing & Talent Partner within our People & Organisational Development Team.

Laurie attended the Fashion Retail Academy in London, beginning her career with the Arcadia Group and progressing to Store Manager for a flagship site. After several years, she moved into a Practice Manager role within the private health care sector, assisting with the set-up of a new practice in Berkshire. Laurie then began a new journey upon her relocation to Suffolk and stepped into the busy world of recruitment. Laurie has 8 years of experience as a Senior Consultant, specialising in the recruitment of interim and permanent Professional Business Support posts.
