Viktoria recently graduated from our University with a degree in Psychology and Sociology.
She brings a diverse range of experiences, spanning special education and multinational corporate environments in Hungary, the social care sector, and her role as a Student Ambassador at our University. As an Ambassador, Viktoria supported prospective students through various forums and in both face-to-face and online settings.
A naturally curious and knowledge-driven individual, Viktoria has a strong interest in psychological and sociological theories and practice, with a particular focus on culture and acculturation. She fused these interests in her undergraduate dissertation on transcultural psychology, using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis—an in-depth qualitative methodology that offers a unique and emerging approach to acculturation research.
Viktoria deeply values the knowledge and awareness gained from her tutors at the University. A particularly influential framework for her is intersectionality—the recognition of overlapping, globally present systems of inequality. She is passionate about applying this perspective to contribute meaningfully to her role and to support the University's mission.
As a Transitions Advisor, Viktoria is eager to make the most of this opportunity by leveraging her diverse personal and professional experiences to support students and our institution as a whole.
