Laura Jefferies

Laura joined the university as a student in 2018 and graduated in 2021 with a first -class degree in BA(Hons) Early learning. She has worked in the Early years sector for over twenty years and during her time as a student, received the academic achievement award in 2020 and 2021, which was a proud moment for a mature student! Laura decided that a career change would be beneficial and has joined the university as the student experience ambassador for the school of social sciences and humanities.

Laura is passionate about fitness, mental health and wellbeing and hopes to support and champion students during their time at the university while also offering the unique perspective of having been a former student herself and is committed to making their university experience a positive and rewarding one.
