Kathryn Baxter

Kate joined the University of Suffolk in 2022 as an Evening and Weekend Library Assistant and was promoted to Library Service Assistant in August 2023.

In 2012 she graduated from the University of Sunderland with a BA (Hons) Glass and Ceramics. Since then, she has established her own glass studio, where she still makes glasswork for her own enjoyment.

Having studied at Suffolk New College for a BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design in 2008, Kate has positive memories studying in the UOS library building.

She enjoys the creative and collaborative environment of the Library Team and endeavours to be approachable and informative about the learning services the library offers.”
