David Humphreys is a Visiting Senior Fellow in Integrated Care.

David works as an independent Systemic Family Therapist in a primary care medical practice in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. He provides consultancy and clinical supervision services to the social prescribing teams in the Stort Village and Valleys Primary Care Network. He is an external examiner and clinical supervisor at the University of Exeter.

Previously, he worked as a Consultant Psychotherapist and Clinical Lead for Family Therapy in adult mental health services in Hertfordshire. In 2016, he was awarded a Churchill Fellowship, spending time in the USA and Canada observing collaborative care in integrated primary care settings. He is passionate about developing systemically informed integrated primary care services and has presented at conferences in the UK and North America. He is an active member of the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association in the USA and has links with Shared Care Canada. David is a member of the Society for Academic Primary Care and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
