We invite you to an event at the University of Suffolk introducing two important developments for our research community.

First, the University has secured an Assured Organisational Connectivity (AOC) agreement with the Office for National Statistics (ONS). This agreement allows our accredited researchers to access high-quality, secure datasets for data-driven research and quantitative research, supporting a wide range of projects in policy, health, social sciences, and beyond.

Second, we are pleased to introduce the Data Research & Quantitative Methods Society (DRQMS), which will bring together researchers, students, and professionals focused on quantitative research, secondary data analysis, and systematic review methodologies. The DRQMS will serve as a platform for collaboration, capacity-building, and knowledge exchange across disciplines.

What to expect

At this event, you’ll:

  • Learn about the AOC agreement and the new opportunities it opens up for data research
  • Get an introduction to the Data Research & Quantitative Methods Society (DRQMS)
  • Hear about exciting ongoing research projects
  • Participate in an interactive session focused on exploring potential collaborations with others in the field

Who should attend?

This event will be valuable for:

  • Academics and researchers interested in using quantitative methods and data-driven research
  • Professionals and policymakers who work with statistical analysis and data insights
  • Students eager to learn about or get involved in quantitative and big data research
