Leanne Punchard

Leanne joined the Student Recruitment team in August 2023 as the Regional Student Recruitment Officer for Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Northamptonshire. Her role involves building relationships with local schools and colleges, by supporting their students with HE talks and workshops, as well as representing the University of Suffolk at fairs and events across the UK.

Leanne graduated from the University of Worcester, in 2006, with a 2:1 in Drama & Media studies. After 5 years of working for UK holiday resorts, both within the Marketing and Entertainment departments, she then moved to The Happy Puzzle Company, where she delivered educational workshops across UK schools. Once she’d got a taste for teaching, Leanne was delighted to be accepted on to the Graduate Teacher Programme, where she gained her QTS in 2012. Leanne enjoyed 11 years of teaching Drama and English at Secondary schools before joining us at UOS.
